Welcome to Casa Mimi a Monti, in the heart of Rome!
The small, stylish and elegant apartment right next to the Colosseum is your ideal starting point to conquer the most beautiful sides of the eternal city on foot.
When you wake up and open the shutters in the morning, you will be greeted by the view of the Forum Imperiale on one side and the Piazza della Madonna dei Monti with its picturesque cafes and bars on the other side. Directly opposite is the historic Rione Monti market hall, which offers a small but fine selection of drinks and food from herbs and vegetables to fresh pasta and bakeries.
You lean out of one of the high windows and watch the busy hustle and bustle, notice the busy murmur and the typical noises of the city (and the seagulls), and immerse yourself in Roman life with all your senses from the very first moment!
The Monti district is also known for its nighttime atmosphere, so you can reach the trendy bars and restaurants in just a few steps in the evening. For very sensitive ears, we of course like to put earplugs on the bedside table…
We would also be happy to pass on our tips for the best cornetti, spritz and carbonara!
To give a little overview:
It's a 2-minute walk to the Augustus Forum, 5 minutes to the Colosseum, even less to the Cavour metro station, about 10 minutes to the Campidoglio, and less than 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain
The apartment has a beautiful "open" living room with stylish, antique furniture and a modern sofa bed, a small, charming kitchen with a microwave and oven, a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a small en suite bathroom with toilet and bidet (and probably the smallest window in Rome ), as well as a bright, spacious bathroom with toilet, shower tray and washing machine.
Since the living room is not separated by doors, we find the apartment particularly suitable for a small family or good friends or acquaintances when booking for more than two people.
The apartment is on the second floor without an elevator. No smokers, no pets, no parties.
